Community Celebrations 2025

We know communities do amazing things, themselves, with very little outside intervention. We asked you to tell us what you are doing in your community that makes life better for the people who live there. It could be a new project, or something you have been doing for some time.

We are sharing your successes here and with a wider audience: in the press, on the radio, in case studies and at our AGM in 2025.

We have had 18 responses to date – Oct 2025, and you can see them all here. The contributions, all provided by local communities, are listed in categories of Housing, Transport, Community Planning, Community buildings or Other. Thank you all for your contributions.

If you read this and would like to add something from your community, please answer the questions and send them to us, with a couple of photos, to: info@cumbriaaction.org.uk. Let’s celebrate community activity and encourage more. Join the celebration and share your story.
