Tebay & Orton Local Distinctiveness Project
This three year project was coordinated by ACT, working with the communities of Tebay and Orton between 2010 and 2013 to provide training, events, and raise awareness of, and pride in, cultural and environmental heritage. The project as funded by the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE), with support from the Churches Trust for Cumbria.
A range of resources were produced as a result of the project, to support the activity of the three main community groups formed and provide guidance for other communities who want to celebrate their own area's local distinctiveness:
