The ACT Blog: Help us write our new plan!

ACT is developing its next 5 year Strategic Plan. We use the diagram above to shape our work, both championing and supporting communities. The four delivery areas are what we have consistently heard from the people we work with that they would like and need our support with, so that no-one is disadvantaged by where they live.

The papers cover the following issues:
- Transport and Accessibility
- Zero and Reducing Carbon
- Well being
- Community action on Housing
- Rural Poverty
- Community Buildings
We have shared the Principles papers with you before and of course they were informed by the work we do and talking with people in communities.
So the big question now is: What do you think ACT should be doing strategically and to support communities?
If you have thoughts or ideas we would really like to hear them. Our discussions will be based on the diagram, the Principles papers, our vision that no-one should be disadvantaged by where they live, and anything new or different that you want to let us know about.
Please complete this short Google form. It will only take a few minutes and will help us collect your views. We will also set up some focus groups to discuss the leading issues later in the summer and autumn.
Of course we are unlikely to be able to do everything that is suggested but we can seriously look at everything that comes back and see how it can shape ACT’s future.
