New Year, New Skill

New Year, New Skill

19th January 2024

Cumbria Adult Learning offers a variety of courses across the county. There are options to learn online, at their centre or they can come to your community space.

They have delivered “Smartphone for Beginners” in various branch libraries (Grange, Ulverston and Windermere), “Cooking on a Budget” in Sandylands Methodist Hall, ESOL (English as a Spoken other Language) in the Grange Community Food Store and the People’s Hall in Sedbergh.

It could be a good offer at your Warm Spot or an extra session at your hall.

They currently have a family learning resilience course for primary schools helping build self esteem through creativity, which could also be delivered at a community building. See the pdf link below for more information about this.

Details of all the course can be found on their website or give Helen Edmonds a call or email to discuss - 01539 713257 helen.edmonds@westmorlandandfurness.gov.uk
