Audio Adventures

Audio Adventures

9th February 2022

Audio Adventures is a new way of making powerful performance events with community groups. It comes from Ragged Edge Productions who have years of experience making shows for village halls, including their award-winning The Chef Show.

A story is created about each particular place with people from that place. The final performance takes the audience on a walk outdoors - they listen to audio content through headphones that we provide and also watch live performers along the route.

"We combine the powerful intimacy of audio storytelling with the spectacle and thrill of outdoor performance. We love working with groups in a way that encourages them to be creative about a place they care about."

An audience member for 'Lost and Found', a previous Audio Adventure, described their experience: "This was one of the most innovative and enjoyable theatrical experiences I have had. Mixing theatre in with the real world was spellbinding.”

Ragged Edge can work with you to create a special event to mark 70 years in your community. You can see more about Audio Adventures on their website: https://raggededgeproductions.co.uk/audio-adventures

They have regularly delivered projects supported by Arts Council England and qualify as an arts partner for applications for the Let’s Create Jubilee Fund.
