ACTion with Communities in Cumbria reveals partnership with Utility Aid

9th July 2021

ACTion with Communities in Cumbria (ACT), an organisation supporting and assisting planning for the future with over 200 local groups a year, has launched a new partnership with Utility Aid, the UK’s leading energy broker in the not-for-profit sector. The partnership offers expert advice and energy sourcing from the UK’s Most Trusted Energy Broker.

Utility Aid is well regarded in their industry, winning the UK’s Most Trusted Energy Broker in 2018. They are dedicated to ethical energy provision and ensuring their clients get the best possible value from their energy contracts. They understand that the less money not-for-profit organisations use to pay for their energy, the more money they have to provide the front-line services they offer. Now, more than ever, this is incredibly important.

ACT CEO Lorrainne Smyth said “We’re excited about our new partnership with Utility Aid. It’s so refreshing to be able to work with a company in the energy sector who are completely focused on doing good. We’re convinced that they will offer real value to communities and help the community buildings and other groups we work with to manage their energy requirements efficiently.”

Giles Hankinson, CEO of Utility Aid, commented “We’re very much looking forward to working with ACTion with Communities in Cumbria. At Utility Aid we pride ourselves in supporting the many wonderful not for profit organisations across the UK. To be able to help their members save money is a privilege. And one we will never take for granted.”

As well as being the UK’s lowest cost energy broker, Utility Aid is the only broker in the UK to work with over 30 different suppliers, enabling them to provide each and every one of their customers with the best possible deal for them.
