The Cumbria Community Transport Conference will be taking place on Tuesday 10th March 2026 9.30am-4pm at The Quiet Site, Ullswater.
The conference, hosted by Sustainable and Integrated Transport for Ullswater (SITU) and supported by ACTion with Communities in Cumbria (ACT) and The Royal Countryside Fund (RCF) will provide an opportunity for community transport initiatives/groups to come together and learn from one another, develop ideas, and envision the future of community transport in Cumbria.
The day will involve the opportunity to hear from experts in community transport, talks from other successful community transport initiatives across the country, and engaging afternoon workshops which will support community transport groups/initiatives to plan and develop their ideas, all within a supportive, informal, and energetic space.
This event is free, however booking is essential. Please join us from 9.30am for registration, the event will start at 10am
Online attendance will be available. Community transport groups/initiatives are encouraged to attend in-person and in-person spaces will be prioritised for these groups. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch by contacting info@cumbriaaction.org.uk.
