Join us at our next free Community Buildings Event where we’ll be celebrating national Village Halls Week and hearing from Al Muir, ACT’s preferred provider for village hall energy and building surveys, about insulation, ventilation and heating, particularly in older buildings. We'll also be joined by hall volunteers sharing their experience of running regular community social activity with refreshments or meals - Community café, Lunch club, Exchange, Warm Spot etc.
Community Buildings events are free of charge and open to all Cumbria's Community Building / Village Hall committee members. Registration is essential and must be completed by midday on the Friday before in order to guarantee your place.
For security reasons the Zoom weblink will be emailed to you on the day. You won't be able to share the link with others, so if you aware of someone else that wishes to attend please request that they register themselves. You can also submit questions when you register.
On the day we operate a waiting room system to join the meeting. Please join us from 9.45am to allow for this so we can begin promptly at 10am.
