Join us for our next online Community Buildings event where we'll be covering:
Easyfundraising for your village hall - Hear from Becky Coleman about Easyfundraising and how everyone in your community can fundraise for your hall when doing their usual online shop - at no extra cost! It’s free to sign up to Easyfundraising and if your hall is referred by ACT, we also raise money for our charity (at no cost to your own fundraising!) It’s a ‘win win’! Join us to find out more.
Warm Hubs in village halls - Warm spaces will be even more important this winter. ACT wants to support community-led Warm Hubs which bring people together in safe, warm and inclusive spaces. Join in the discussion, tell us what you’re doing or would like to do at your hall and help to inform the support we offer.
Charity Essentials and Administration: Q&A - Take a look at the Hallmark 1 Checklist covering charity essentials and administration, would your hall meet the standard? Or does it raise any questions you’d like help with? Whether you’re a longstanding committee members or new to it all, come and ask your question - you’ll probably find others have also been wondering about the same thing!
Register to book your free place and submit questions. You'll also be able to ask questions on the day.
Community Buildings events are free of charge and open to all Cumbria's Community Building / Village Hall committee members.
Registration is essential and must be completed by midday on the Friday before in order to guarantee your place.
For security reasons the Zoom weblink will be emailed to you at 9:30am on the day. You won't be able to share the link with others, so if you aware of someone else that wishes to attend please request that they register themselves.
On the day we operate a waiting room system to join the meeting; you're welcome to join us from 9.45am to allow for this so we can start at 10am.
