ACT is working with Eden Housing Association to deliver the Rural Housing Enabler Service across the county. We support communities to understand their affordable housing need and find the best options for development which meets that need. Join us online to hear about a year of partnership working to unlock rural affordable housing opportunities. Our aim is to help meet the housing needs of small communities so that they remain vibrant and balanced. We will talk about:
- Why affordable housing is not being delivered adequately in rural communities (population below 3000)
- Why it’s vital to challenge this and to support community action
- What the Rural Housing Enabler Service has put in place
- How we can work with you
Both ACT and Eden Housing Association bring expertise to this partnership. We will make time to answer any questions that we can on the day, and follow up where necessary.
This event is free of charge and open to all. Registration is essential and must be completed by midday on 10th March in order to guarantee your place.
For security reasons the Zoom weblink will be emailed to you on the day. You won't be able to share the link with others, so if you’re aware of someone else that wishes to attend, please request that they register themselves. You can also submit questions when you register. On the day we operate a waiting room system to join the meeting. Please join us from 7.15pm to allow for this so we can begin promptly at 7.30pm.
