Description of Hall and village: Opened in October 1964, this mainly timber building has recently under gone internal refurbishment to provide a modern kitchen and disabled toilet. Situated opposite the village school and hosting the recycling facility the car park is a busy thoroughfare for the community. Although Ivegill has few services, it has a lively social life with many groups incl. Footpath, book club, W.I., MU, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, fundraising events for the church and Hall for example Harvest Show, Christmas Tree Festival, Bonfire, Duck Race and quizes. A mix of converted farmsteads, modern developments and original housing line the road through the village, with the added feature of a pack horse bridge spanning the river.
