Description of Hall and village: Dufton is a fellside village in the Eden Valley.  It has virtually no public transport connections to adjacent towns and villages, so the Village Hall provides a vital and useful focus for villagers to meet together.  It is the only opportunity for older villagers to socialise if they cannot drive.
