Description of Hall and village: The Hall opened in May 1961.  A storeroom is being added in Autumn 2009, with the toilets being recently refurbished as part of access improvements.  Small recycling plant, paper, glass and tin.  Blencow History Club is publishing a book with all details of the village.

Situated on outskirts of the village (Blencow), small village, strange community about 150 approx residents.  We have an annual BBQ in summer, carols in the pub at Christmas.  A very good pub in the village.  Laithes about 1 mile away.
