Description of Hall and village: Greystoke village Hall was built in 1932 under supervision of Lady Mabel Howard and was handed over to the villagers in 1937. Greystoke village is situated on the outskirts of the Lake District National Park and retains its village green and ancient market cross that dates back to the 1600's. Other facilities in the village include a church, castle, outdoor heated swimming pool, pub, shop and Post Office, school, children's play area and cycle café.
