Careful planning is vital to the success of your organisation. To run an effective and efficient organisation you need to be clear about what you want to achieve, and how you are going to carry out your activities. Planning helps you to set realistic targets and identify the resources you need to carry out you activities.

We are aware that many groups have great ideas, but struggle to obtain funding because they have no clear plan of action. Increasingly funders are requesting written business plans to support funding applications, however, many organisations don’t have one.
